Game On, Stoke

There is a cracking little retro game shop in Stoke-on-Trent (my home town) called Game On.

Ran by a guy named Will, there are often many curiosities in there. And the retro games and consoles in this shop seem to always move very fast indeed.

It has been great to see the shop highlighted by various Youtubers recently – including Retrobreak and TheGebs24 – because of the amazing full set of Dreamcast and Sega Saturn that the shop had taken in.

Every time that I have been to the shop, I have walked away with something pretty neat. While there is never a huge range of retro consoles – or games for that matter – it is never ever a boring set of games that you see everywhere. It’s quite a unique shop in that respect.

Thinking to myself as I am writing this review, it’s one of the rare places that I go to expecting something exciting, rather than just hoping for.

All-in-all, a great shop, which also seems to do a LOT of trade in 80s/90s toys and funko pop things, or whatever they are called.

You can find Will and Game On at 242 London Rd, Stoke-on-Trent, United Kingdom
