OSG is a very nice, very tidy, organised retrogaming shop in the West Midlands. The selection of retro accessories, games, and consoles has a very good breadth indeed.
Manned by a very likeable, and knowledgeable guy,the shop has a very good experience. However, it could do with the noise from an arcade machine in the corner or something like that.
During my time there, I spent a few hundred pounds on some guns, and some rare remote Sega Saturn controllers, which was a good find I thought.
There’s plenty of 16-bit stuff, and even some 8-bit stuff hanging around too, that was of interest.
All in all, a great retro gaming experience. And once again, because there are several other retro game stores in the local area, competition seems to have made each of the stores up their own game.
I’d say that the West Midlands is probably the best location for retro games and accessories because of this local competition, and long may it continue.
You can find Old Skool Gaming at 48b High St, Brierley Hill DY5 3AE.
